OPEN CALL.
Seeking: 5 Women and 3 men, strong with language, adept at comedy,
English accents a definite plus.
The script hilariously depicts the evolution of an unlikely friendship between two women, both of whom possess a passion for history. Miss Lettice Douffet is the boldly eccentric tour guide who invents outlandish fantasies in protest of all things she deems uninteresting or second-rate. Lotte Schoen is her uptight employer at London's Preservation Trust who holds Lettice's livelihood in her hands. The two come head-to-head when Lotte disapproves of the bizarre historical inaccuracies Lettice includes in the tour of Fustian House, a gloomy Tudor manor with a rather bland history. Eventually, the women realize their shared passion. Lotte gradually moves into Lettice's world of theatrics and imaginary madness, though not without near-fatal results.

This scalding comedy took Broadway and London by storm and won a Pulitzer Prize. Never has the author's ear for the rhythms of contemporary speech been more keen than in this tale of cutthroat competition among real estate salesmen. Roma is in the lead for the monthly sales award for a new Cadillac while former top salesman Shelly Levene is riding a streak of bad luck. They are dependent on Williamson to give them hot leads, and Williamson ruthlessly pits them against each other. In the first act, the salesmen vie for position as they gulp their cocktails in the local Chinese restaurant. The second act shifts to the office, where the promising Glengarry Glen Ross leads have been filched. Eventually, Williamson screws Roma out of his car and nabs the bag man.
