Ticket Prices
Theatre Events are usually $8 & $5.  
BC Music Department Concerts are $5 & $3, children under 12 free.

Shows
Plays & Concerts throughout the year. The Kern Shakespeare Festival is presented in the fall.

Reservations
Call the ticket office to make a reservation.  You can pay with Visa/MasterCard but it is not required.  Reservations are recommended, seating may be limited and popular productions often sell out.

Auditions
Auditions are announced on campus and are open to students and non-students of all ages.  Contact BC directly for more details.

Description

The Bakersfield College Theatre Department puts on a variety of plays throughout the year.  BC also hosts the Kern Shakespeare Festival each year.  The Kern Shakespeare Festival, which is wildly popular and critically acclaimed, puts on 2 or more productions each year.  Usually they choose one hilarious comedy and one stirring drama.  The productions feature a mix of professional actors, local amateurs, and students.

Bakersfield College also rents its facilities to outside groups, and thus hosts other arts-type events (music, theatre, and more).
